Open new servers, where Fleetpoints are permanently listed, eliminating the "dinner bell" now in effect.Zorg wrote:Numbers have dropped. That's the major truth. Also, summer is never good for numbers.
We have already increased advertising since mid June and we are willing to dedicate much more time into developing new features.
Any other ideas, we are open to suggestions.
Giant accounts like Gozar, dominate servers, sit and watch the Update, and it's easy pickings, make a server where you have to search, hunt, stalk your prey, not have it handed to you on an Hourly basis.
Tweak the Scoreboard where it also isn't the way to find easy prey, and players who get their fleet crashed, don't get an Attacker trophy at same time they get a Defender trophy. lol
change the attack zones, so a player with millions and millions of Fleetpoints, can't kill a new player who just topped 100k (in extreme)
Make Moons, harder to get, and harder to pop, ( Players now can actually pop Ruby Moons at their leisure, unbelievable, gotta effect the wallet sooner or later Zorg)
Eliminate Account swaps, build your own account, don't inherit another's good works then act like you did it'
I have other idea's, but this should attract enough pissing and moaning from "The Best" to last for a little while. I know I can't name them, but there are quite a few games out there where "The Best" would have a hard time proving it. And I suspect a new server here would also challenge them.
But something has to be done before a good game goes "belly-up", and it has very little to do with being summertime. Mostly has to do with current servers being too "Top Heavy" and murdering the player base.
The players with the longest time in game, are so huge, they can't hit each other, so have to resort to "Noob Bashing". Once there are no new players coming in and staying, and existing players quitting or Perma-Blue, all they will have to eat is each other, Game Extinction soon follows, and your Income generator is bye bye.
Just a thought.
