As far as points go, It might be harder to gain points in standard over extreme-Unless you're a heavy fleeter.

10 planets in standard versus 21 in extreme, they produce 1/4 the ress..That's 1/8 income of extreme. And points are only 1k a piece instead of 5k. So it is my belief racking up points is harder in standard!

Points doesn't really matter between servers. No one is really going to compare their points in Standard to those they have in Xtreme. They're really just a way to see where you line up against the rest of the server, and since everyone is scored the same on the server, it's fine by me.

True, but the points system in Standard doesn't run the same as the one in Xtreme because of its balance. It would be identical if they would've decreased everything by the same ratio, but instead they decreased the planet cap by roughly 50% and the res output by 75%. This mixes things up a bit....if everything were back on a 1/.5 ratio instead of both a 1/.5 and 1/.25, everything would make a lot more sense...and go a lot faster.
