I gave the top score point wise to show the extremes ends from the tiniest fishy to the whale. There isn't going to be much of a point in playing if it gets to the point where only 10-100 people are active. I've fought this long, so I'm not going anywhere. I just don't see the point in smashing all new players. If there is profit sure. But when people are launching 500-1000+ bc to get less then 100k resources from 50 or more systems away?

I don't think anybody would be doing that unless there was more resources there when they launched. If the player being attacked happens to be online and spends the res it is very doubtful that the attacker will recall. They've already spent the deut to launch so the hit might as well go through for weekly damage total. Like I said before...the name of the game is Massacre and was meant to be different from the other 3 uni's. Here's a definition. Just substitute ships/defenses for humans, animals. Usually thought to be a "senseless" act.

As long as the server stays running there will always be new players coming along. Most will disappear but some will always stay. This game has a very high dropout rate anyway. I have no sympathy for the noobs who think they're hot stuff when they start out only to crumble and disappear within a few months. Everyone has been saying Speed was dead because we....The Chosen...had killed the server yet every week there's brand new players joining. Adversity is what war games are all about. Overcoming the pitfalls and winning is what keeps us going....or not! There is no Mr Nice Guy in this game.

I hate to say this. I love massacre and I will continue playing but I can already see 2-3 or maybe four alliances are going to dominate the entire server. That's unless a new alliance forms at some point and gets competitive. I like it when everyone is on a level playing field. That's why I joined Massacre instead of sticking to X. But who knows maybe they are working on another universe and we don't know yet. Everyone fly safe. =)
