Why is everyone getting their panties in a bunch here? Zorton is one of the most honorable players I know in this game...all he did was point out a flaw and prove its existence. You agree with him on that point at least.

So now since the main issue is agreed upon by all parties, you have to attack him over a set of numbers that really means nothing in the grand scheme of things. He even asked if it was possible for his points to be reset, yet no one seems to have read that part. Always something sneaky afoot with you HC people - no honor left in this world huh?

Besides, the bug itself or the amount of points gained isn't even the topic of this thread, which by the way, is just another part of some big conspiracy it seems. Even in the proper thread you make accusations against another's character. If I were a mod, I probably would have locked it too.

Oh yeah, it's just a game. The points and medals really don't mean anything. "You can try for glory, you can try for fame, but the winner is the one who enjoys the game." Everyone spends so much time whining and crying I am surprised you find time for much else.

The issue has been reported more than once and I'm sure a solution is being developed. Give it time. Damn.

Please Zorg, Admin, Whomever. Reset Zortons Raiding points for the week so that we can all move on with our lives.

Yeah, I kinda have to agree that 1.2 BILLION was at least a tad bit obbessive but it definitely got people's attention. So if his goal was only to CLEARLY demonstrate the loopole he did that.


Now I am very competitive. To some people the prizes at the end of the week mean almost nothing. I can understand that. If you don't have as much time to play, as someone who is on every day...then it's not a fair fight.

Still some good points were made. At the end of the day, as another poster said, it's just a game. I'm sure the admins were aware of the 1.2 billion proof, and if they thought he was completely out of line...I say let the mods deal with it.

At least he is asking it to be taken off his tally, so I guess that's honorable. Although, I don't like everyone accusing everyone of cheating. Where is the sportsmenship?

IMO all zorton did was nothing

If he indeed did that to obtain first rank then- boohoo-
If a cheat should exist it must have 2 things- a motive and a gain- if he has that status- Hell he can keep it,
think of it like this he is first rank by loosing time you are 2'nd ranked by gaining real res . Why are you so pissed about???
If he actually did that he must be a bit low on neurons- but as i said that cheat is not only pointless it is an anti-gain cheat:
a)he looses time
b)he losses deut(transport and attack)
c)he uses fleet slots
d)he makes you raid even more while he gets no income

This is my real point and i am sorry to make it so strong but its a bull crap cheat.
More than that if he does that you should be proud of yourself!!!!

the whole problem is this very same topic was discussed right at the beggining of the scoreboard because it wasn't a difficult thing to see, So straight away zorg said whats to be done about it in the future,
I dont know what makes Zorton thinks he's above everyone else, but you cant just do what you want and say ''i had a good cause'' or some other bs, you think there is a bug

But instead of doing this Zorton takes advantage of it enough to raid 1.2 BILLION, again, dont know why zorton thinks he's above everyone else but whatever he says cant dispute the fact he not only abused a loophole zorg already discussed and called a bannable offense, but his excuse for it was also actually against the second rule the game has.

Thats my problem, lots of people think the score board to be pointless, i enjoy the competitiveness, yet zorton can wade in breaking rules and yet a few honneyed words and he'll get away with it?
if it was a noob you'd never heard of you'd call him out despite what he said.
Just because its a big player and a ruby user doesnt mean he should get away with it, if anything its worse as he should know how to go about reporting a bug and not use ''revealing'' as an excuse to abuse it.

When someone accuses people off cheating/exploiting a bug, you say its a game and you ask WHERE the spirit of the game has lost?
You don't ask the guy who used it where his sportsmanship was while using it?

I'm fairly new to the game, don't know much anyone personally, I did respect the Old man, untill yesterday.
Not because I'm in HC and I'm supporting the alliance, not because I want him down personally.. if he's been playing the game for so long - he should be very well with the rules and like con said, should have reported it.
I mentioned the same thing in an earlier post which seems to be KNOWINGLY not noticed.

Not much we can do about it. If the admins think it's an issue, I'm sure they will deal with it. Though I am kinda enjoying the free entertainment here tonight.

Unholy you have some good points. But you figure if there is a game, there will always be someone who cheats or bends the rules. I"m not saying Zorton did or if he did that he did it intentionally but just play the game the best way you can and have fun. Your doing really well for a fairly new player.

If you all have such an issue with topics being locked, take it up with Weresloth, he is in charge of the forums.
