most who post for a trade will not leave it just sitting to be raided. Also, if a player has an excess of say, metal, then they may wish to trade it for deut so that they can actually carry it all. when you raid metal comes at about twice the amount of crystal and 10 times the amount of deut. Trade is a very important part of the game and becomes more so the bigger you get.

That makes sense I get the slowness of it all when you get to be much larger, all I was meaning is that you could just go on a raiding spree raiding anyone you could find for resources, granted you won't make any friends but still.... lol Though yeah I can see how if you were looking for deut it would be a very slow process to gather large quantities through raiding. lol fair enough, trading has a little value I guess lol.
