Hmm...I don't think they need better protection, but since all Zorg cares about is players and not who actually plays the game and how well they do it, you might as well raise it to 100k points...Protect the noobs so that when they get out of protection, they quit when they get crashed the first time. That works. Low noob protection is better low because if you get crashed with a few hundred LF and maybe 10 BS, you'll except it, get over it, and move on to do more in the game. Now, reaching 50k points, getting hit because you don't know how to fleet save or anything like that, losing say 250 BS, 50 dessies, 500 cruisers, 50 Bombers, 100 battle cruisers, then lots of light fighter and heavy fighters would make most players quit.

I totally disagree , if you have 50k points you can still be attacked by players lets say x3 your weight so that makes it 150k you will need to learn to fleetsave and stuff you will need to learn how to play and stuff but at least who wont be swiped by some 2mil pointer who can eliminate all your defences on all planets at a snap of a finger and start farming you when you reach a certain level of mines just because he wants to, not to mention wars.Who gets obliterated first? the low points members of course.
For sure there is more to discuss and plan but the overpower some players have in this game is like insane especially the ones that played this well with skill from the start...just give new and slow (slow in terms of evolving in the game,not enough time or realy casual)players some fresh air is my idea.

if my fleet is gone and my resources spent or gone with my fleet. I could care less who hits me and what level they are. The best protection a "nub" can get instead of relying on the games mechanics is to :

1. Learn from your mistakes
2. READ THE FORUMS
3. Learn from your mistakes
4. Create a good network of friends and/or alliances that can asnwer/asssist you with any questions or situations you may have
5. Learn from your mistakes
6. Dont piss off the big guys (until you become a big guy or can handle that situation)
and finally
7. Learn from your mistakes.

AmeOkami i have just 1 question..if you hate this 'FREE' 'GAME' so much why continue to play?
bugs and all it is still good entertainment for those that play with those 2 key words in mind.

If you play sloppy you are gonna get hit..someone is always watching..what doesn't kill you should make you stronger.

to say they are doing nothing to enhance game play means nothing coming from you.
you are not there and have no idea what is or isn't being done.All you have is negative ideas and providing nothing to offer help in fixing any of these bugs that EVERYONE is dealing with.

i went public when i got reset to maybe stop it from happening to others..
Zorg and the crew seen this..made it so auto resets happen far less until they can look into if it is warranted..not sure how many total accounts that action saved but i can tell you this..Klizac is thankfull as he received a temp ban and it was over ruled by Zorg as it was unjustified..

threw it all i made my way up the tree..Twice..havin never been hit and the only time i lost my fleet was when i thought i had enough to win

as you see i didn't but that battle made me wiser smarter and tougher to catch..
cry about protection but there is prolly more things in these forums then experience players would like on how to survive and several thousand duplicate posts.

Now ~V~ and Hells Fury are going to war..they could have cried and ran as they are facing overwhelming odds but as i figured, they will not cause they understand the 'FREE GAME' logistics here.

if you can't get a grip and what is trying to be accomplished by the zorg team ..although counter productive to what zorg made this post for to begin with..we won't miss you if you quit.

As i am prepared to catch a Flame warning for this ..i see all of your non productive postings as such to all of us.

Maybe you could raise player protection to like 1% of the first place players points. That way it would be ever growing, and not so ridiculously low. Maybe under the alliances tab you could list learning alliances for them to join like twin runes and illigitemati eternum.

1% The top 1 is currently less than 50K points. I like the idea though.
On the other hand. I go directly for profit, i don't give a d*** about those d*** noobs. I usually explain them the game mechanics after i hit them, sorry. That's just me. If they don't learn, well, i hit them again. And Harder.


Please refrain from the profanity, it really isnt necessary to get your point across
