Whilst I agree with nearly everything that Gozar says, I disagree with "no moon should be unpoppable" scenario.
Changing the game for the sake of it, bad idea. But the moons, I doubt the original intention was to have all moons unpoppable. The whole point of Ruby moons, I think, was to make them safe from being destroyed. The original game designers would never have envisioned a player having a fleet of so many RIPs that could actually take out a ruby moon.
Things change and the game evolves, a matter of time passes, these things happen. So, although not changing the game drastically, it would be better perhaps to tweak the game so that the original concept was kept, albeit not to everyone's agreement.
The long term players in any server are the bread and butter of Zorg. As a business, to keep your customer base happy, ideas need to be listened to, things addressed. But, these players have played for so long. They will, to a greater extent, still play. Things need to be changed to suit new players, agreed. But not to the detriment of the players who have kept the game going since its inception.

#52I agree with gozar the only thing that needs changing is a tutorial for new players this game need players to work fully this is a war game u ill lose and win at times. I believe all moons should be able to be poped otherwise why have the rips we have the tech and the ships that is needed u has a player have to find ways of doing the job piting ur wits against other's

#54i think the biggest problem is that most everybody is trying to figure out how to be #1. While it is possible to change the current #1 slot from Gozar to (insert name), will you put the effort into what it takes? I, myself, have often wondered about being #1 but not in the same context as most. I wonder how many ppl will start to hate me, hunt me, start rumors about me, lie about me, try to be my friend for protection, "retire their fleet" into mine, want my account, not have to "worry" about my fleet, hit whomever I want (including guildies that upset me).
There is really not too much to be done with this game except to enjoy it and challenge yourself. War is way more than ATTACK/DEFEND. This game should be played with a broader perspective than just being #1 or trying to change the game to attack who is thru coding. The question we should be asking ourselves is.. given an even playing ground, meaning same exact accounts, would I be as good as the top players (not by rank). For me, the answer is simple. If i put in the amount of effort, then yes. If I am lax in my play, then no. Can I, within the current system of play, find ways that maybe others don't do to counter and be victorious? Absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, not only can I do this, but it is what I base my game play on. Can I really mess up the comfort zone of "GREAT" players by doing things they maybe have rarely/never seen before? Oh, that is what I live for in this game. To be the first to do something nobody else has done before.
With my rambling out of the way, personally I have had some ideas to change the game for better front of game experience. I know there have been some other really damn good game play ideas, but very limited response. I love the "alien tech/fuel" ideas to enhance expedition play. That or just take that current load of crap out of the game entirely. Its broken and useless (to a point) as it is now.
I also agree about the "tutorial" section and, once again, think it should be an interactive beginning. Don't just give the rubies and a "how to" button. make them walk thru every aspect and "earn" the rubies. Zorg, ATTACK THE NEW PLAYERS! let them see what an attack is, how it affects their play and how to come out if it on the better side. Make them do an expedition run and get something in return. Maybe attack them and they lose 1 of their ships in a tie battle, but while they are doing their first expedition, they also find that ship and it is replaced so they can feel the relief of rebuilding. These ideas in no way affect/hinder/give bonus to any level player. It only expands their thought process of the game.
All nub accounts should be placed into a UNIVERSAL alliance and, unless it is a recommend through friend account, it should stay in this alliance until 50k pts. It will introduce new players to each other, ultimately teach the game by peer accomplishments/mistakes, gain a cohesiveness thruout the game for its game play, not your position on the rankings.

#56The whole point is to be number one. AS a number two, I'm not happy, lol. But there is little I can do apart from plugging away.
Game tutorials are a great idea. It has been suggested before that there is a nursery server. To progress, you have to complete task, learn and then move on. It was also suggested that this be a personal choice. If you wanted to step straight in to a server, it's your choice. The nursery server, you would complete the tutorial task then graduate upwards to a server of choice. So, that means, all servers having their differences, all servers would have to be the same game up to a certain point. ie. you might only be allowed to have your original world or at least only one colony? Anything past a certain playing point the servers go in diverse directions. To graduate as the same player you can't go too far.
But, once you have the basics of the game play, your Zorg knowledge would be the same in any of the universes.

#57the "whole point of being #1" is like the "perfection" theory....its only attainable by 1, so if that is the case, why would anybody ever join a new game? You will never be #1.So if that is the point for you, and you know its an impossible goal, why play? That mindset is why ppl quit. Any minor setback and hang it up.

regualr allaince cant access them you need to have big allaince of allaince to access them
option that each allaince need to donate some resurses to create let say super planets on which the can build they special ships
,defenses ,buildings for trading to others big alliances
protect there planets by sending ships to that planet
