for what are good lunar guardian?

#1
Over the years, crafty emperors of Zorg Universe, looked for ways to defend colonies and lunar bases against the massive firepower of Death Stars and their graviton cannons. Eventually they realized that they could harness and reflect the energy from these cannons. The result was a brand new ship which was named as Lunar Guardian to reflect the purpose it was first created.

Rapid Fire Against Espionage Ship 600
Rapid Fire Against Solar Satellite 150
Rapid Fire Against Death Star 10
Rapid Fire From Light Fighter 6
Rapid Fire From Destroyer 4
Rapid Fire From Battlecruiser 4
Rapid Fire From Plasma Cannon 4
60.000 60.000 15.000
Structure points 120.000
Shield Strength 700
Attack Points 2.000
Cargo Capacity 2.500 Units
Base Speed 7.500
Fuel Consumption (Deuterium) 750

well my here is little discusing about lunars :
there are weakest ships against deathstars even zorg added them to stop moon poping
let a make some simulations a will add wsa 20 all and plasma too
a will add that attacker send 700 deathstars and defender has 12 000 lunars however we all know deathstars are most expensive ships
so here are results :

The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 0 units of Metal, 0 units of Crystal and 0 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 1.395.000.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 1.440.000.000 units.
A debris field containing 990.000.000 units of Metal and 711.000.000 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %

well attacker lost only 186 deathstars a lost 12 000 lunars well if he send rec to arrive 1 sec behind hit a lost more

so we will make for extreme little calculations
so enemy send 10 000 deathstars a send 200 000 lunars tech are same
result:
The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 0 units of Metal, 0 units of Crystal and 0 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 8.137.500.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 24.000.000.000 units.
A debris field containing 10.455.000.000 units of Metal and 8.827.500.000 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %

atatcker lost only:1085 deathstars
me all 200 000 lunars

now we will make single simulations tech all same
now enemy send 100 deathstars a have 1250 lunars
result:
The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 0 units of Metal, 0 units of Crystal and 0 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 0 units.
The defender has lost a total of 150.000.000 units.
A debris field containing 45.000.000 units of Metal and 45.000.000 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 19 %

atatcker lost : 0
a lost all 1250 lunars and a dint kill not single deathstars

my point is for what are good lunars if the cant kill 1 deathstars there are only good for kiling probes because rapid fire
the sayed that this ship will be good defense agains Md but the dont do there purpose

this ship need big change of rapid fire maybe 600 against deathstars or 50 rapid fire not 10
 :snooty:  :hand: :naughty:
if this dont change little guys will suffer even more
the cant defend moons with lunars

can we have woting to change rapid fire for:
1.25
2.50
3.100
4.300
5.600
these 5 rapid fire

No''
-Lunar Gards should be good for only one (1) thing,
Gaurd a moon,
set the fleet speed even slower than that of a DS,,
very, very slow to move and use in an attack,
make the deut cost tripple that of even dessies,
and now they are good for only one thing

Gaurd a moon

that was the whole purpose of a LG's in the 1st plce
the cost of a LG should be 10 times what it is now,
Fleet speed is debateable ,
so it could be used n an ACS Defend

If the cost was increased then the purpose of the ship would be defeated, it is designed to be a "swarm" ship, hence why you need a super large amount to take on a deathstar. The battle simulator is not 100% accurate, this is well known to those who pay attention. Plus, the scenario you gave defeats your point, 700 RIPS against 12k LGs? If 1250 LGs lose to a single deathstar, why on earth would you think 12k could beat 700 RIPS?

You also have to account for WSA on both sides, so there is more than 1 variable present in any given battle.

Btw, in this scenario, unless you are including bombers or plasma cannons, plasma tech does not come into play
