I am not doing any of these things and still can't go in V-mode....help

Try going into the empire view and then v-moding.

Also, if you just came out of V-mode, you have to wait 48 hours before v-moding again.

Nothing is working. You know what... just farm me. If I come back then I come back. I enjoyed playing this game but with my schedule, it this can't be fixed i'm screwed.

You have to click resources and turn all of your production to zero. Also you must not have any fleet movement and cannot be constructing ships or buildings.
