So I was gonna make a comprehensive guide to my mining strategy in hopes that newbies can base their strategies off of it. But one strategy alone won't do much. Would anybody else be willing to contribute their strategies or what they believe is the best way to play the game?

i can. but i would feel better if we have a fixed format for them to compare. come up with a format i will fill in my post.

Here is a possible format you could use. Since strategies vary so much it's kinda hard to come up with a better one.

The basics
Name: call it w/e you want
Type: Miner/fleeter/turtle
Universe: X-treme/standard/speed
Success: how far did this get you?
Ease: how much time and skill does it take?
Strengths: Is it fast? Do you have fun?
Weaknesses: Is is risky? Do people hate you?

Planet setup
Do you cluster or seperate? What type of planets do you look for?
-discuss what people should build
-discuss what they should research
-discuss fleets and defenses

After you have it all set up, discuss how they should use this empire to play. Include any other info you think would help.
