Just asking to make sure. I need lv. 2 IRN for it to work right? and it should work like a nanite for my research yes? and lastly the IRN bug that makes research take forever is fixed too?

Just need to know before I spend the loot to get the thing.

The bug is fixed. You need level 2 to get an effect. For each level it will link the two highest research labs in your empire together and have them act as one lab when carrying out research. For example, if you have two level 10 labs and want to research a new level in shield technology, the two labs will link together and the build time will be equal to having a level 20 lab. This will only work if all of the linked labs have the level pre-requiste to access said technology.
