Conflicting energy totals

The total energy level for my planet on the resources tab is higher than the total given in the top frame. I'm trying to get together my 300k for Graviton and it's difficult to tell how long I need. The resources tab says I have a total of 220k while the total at the top of the page is just 178k. Which one is the correct figure?
