Also, the description says they use Deuterium. Do they actually use it or is it just included in there for the heck of it?

They do use it - they consume it.

I'm of the opinion that fusion reactors are a waste that people will regret later on in the game. Solar Plants are the only real way to power your empire. If you think they're too expensive I think you're playing it wrong.

They're only really worthwhile when they're cheap. Solar Plants still give a better bang for your buck.

If they do end up using deuterium in anything other than the build stage, than they use way too many resources for how much power they give out.

i wonder how much deut they use for power production they are not worth buying at all since it said 0 for how much deut they consume i thought that was how it was. I might have to demolish some
