Colony ship

I got an colony ship now but how can i colonize a planet? lol

Just send it to an empty box.
Click on Fleet, select it, enter the Galaxy - System & slot and send it to colonize the planet.

I have built a colony ship, picked an empty spot in the galaxy, loaded my colony ship with goods and when I try to send it I get a "Action Impossible" message. What am I doing wrong?
