Q: If you send Recyclers with the attack fleet, will they automatically Recycle after the battle?

No. To recycle the debris you need to send them to the Debris Field, not directly at the planet as you would in an attack. You must target a Debris Field and select the Recycle fleet mission.

Thanks man. I didn't think so, but I thought I saw in one of the attack reports from the HOF battles thread that there was some Recyclers sent with the battle fleets.

Many players send 1 recycler with their fleets to pace the attack with a follow up fleet of reyclers. That way debris recovery is within seconds of the attack hitting the planet.

i send recyclers ahead of time that way i dont have to slow down my attacking fleet at all

Thanks for the tip Slash. I usually just adjust the fuel consumption to allow the fleet to arrive a minute or so from the Recyclers. I will try that in my next mass attack.

Oh, I read everything very carefully. I would not have picked up the Recyclers in the attack report if I did not.
