What is the difference between the numbers that are in green and those in red on the table for information from ships?

The same thing that it is for all building/defense/ship contruction quo's. Green numbers mean you have enough of that particular resource to build that item, and red mean you doesn't.

I ask in order like so: rapid fire Against small charge = 5 (in green) and light rapid fire Against ships = 6 (in red) for example ........

I thought you meant the building requirements. I guess I still don't read well. The green means that ship has rapid fire against another ship. The red means a ship has rapid fire against it. For example: It has 3 rapid fire AGAINST a cargo ship of 3. It has Rapid Fire FROM Deathstars of 100.
