What is the temperature that makes a planet a cold planet and what does this affect?

Planets with both numbers in the negative are considered cold. The colder the planet, the more deut it produces but the less energy solar sats make. The opposite is true for hot planets.

Is there anything else that can affect duet production? I ask because here are some stats from two of my planets
Planet 1
Temp 22C to 62C
Deuterium Synthesizer level 14 614/hour
Planet 2
Temp -60C to -20C
Deuterium Synthesizer level 14 421/hour

Fusion reactors use deut to work; that subtracts from the total.

I don't have any Fusion Reactors though. So then can you explain the difference?

I figured it out. When you change production percentage in the resources view it also changes how much it shows being produced at the various levels in the view that you see when you click on the picture in the build screen. I feel silly for not figuring it out sooner

Also remember that if your energy is in the negative, your mines will not produce to their full capacity.
