Is there anyway at all to transfer ships from one planet to another and make them stay there (as in become property of the planet they were sent to)?
Also, what would happen if one was to abandon a planet while one of it's fleets were on ACS defend? (I am assuming that this cannot be done, just making sure)
I tried searching the forums but the searcher was less than helpful and I couldn't see and topic names that might relate to transfering ships, so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked already.
Re: Transferring Ships - Not ACS Defend
#2The mission type that moves ships to another planet or moon that you own is called "deploy". I have no clue on the question about abandoning a planet that has a fleet out.
Re: Transferring Ships - Not ACS Defend
#3Ah OK, thanks Shaft, I had no idea what that mission was for haha.
Re: Transferring Ships - Not ACS Defend
#4I just tested it out. If you ambondon a planet while the fleet is out, whether the mission is Recycle, ACS defend, or transport, it'll do it's mission only to return to the planet that isn't there, and be destroyed. It was worth the few thousand resources and 2 hours to figure that out, for future references.

#5Well, the destroyed planet will still be there for a while, so if the fleet was worth something, you could attack it and recycle.
Re: Transferring Ships - Not ACS Defend
#6Wow, thanks for that
So hypothetically, if the fleet is on deploy then abandoning their originating planet wont affect the mission at all.

#7Nope, I've done that a fair number of times and it never affect it.
