Just a quick kinda noob'ish question or two here;
A: What is the recemended tempature for a planet souly used for extracting Deu?
B: Same as a, but for geting heat for satalites ( eg: 60 degree's? or higher? )
Thanks
Re: Temp's
#2This is just personal opinion, your mileage may vary.
My best planet for deut production (with a level 24 deuterium synthesizer) has a temp of -64 to -24 and produces 6,278/hr.
Worst planet same level but temp is 55 to 95 ... 5,153/hr. So there is a significant difference.
So if deuterium production is your goal, then the colder the better. Solar satellites are exactly the opposite though, and deuterium production requires a lot of energy. The problem with solar sats is that they are not permanent. Unless you are a huge turtle, sats are just an easy crystal source for the next fleeter to spy on your planet. I built them to get graviton tech and then recycled them (actually someone else tried to attack me and I ninja'd them). I built them on my home planet since it was the warmest and the most developed, and I did it once I could crank them all out in an hour or so. The tech is instant once you have the energy available, so the trick is to have all the resources and a high enough shipyard and nanite level to pop out all the sats you need before someone comes along and crashes them.

#3So a rough guess on a planet used for gathering the energy for energy for grav tech..
Would it be around 30 - 60 degree's or aim for more heat wise?

Re: Temp's
#4I used 86-126. You'll want to get the hottest planet you can so it'll cost you less.
