Questions

Good day! I've only been playing for a week so I'm not too sure how things work around here. It's my first post by the way please help out with my questions if you can. :)

1: How do battle systems work exactly? Let me elaborate; are the battles turn based? That means do the fleets take turns to attack each other or do they do it some other way? Also, if you have 1 ship fighting 2 or more ships, will it attack all of the enemies at 1 time or does it attack the enemies 1 at a time?

2.What benefits do you gain from joining an alliance? How do you join an alliance?

3.When you go on vacation mode, does everything pause in your planets?

4.How is bounty from defeating a planet calculated?

5. Is there a limit to how many times you can get attacked by different players in 1 day?

That's all for now, do help out if you can. Thanks a lot. :)

Welcome to the game Azurerath.

1: During combat the attackers and the defenders take turns in firing at each other spread throughout 6 rounds of combat. At the end of 6 rounds, if the attackers are destroyed completely the defender wins, if the defender is destroyed completely the attacker wins and gains access to combat spoils. If there are survivors on both sides after 6 rounds, the attackers will withdraw to their point of origin. When fighting the ships/defenses will randomly choose a target to receive the damage, later on in the game this will be affected by Rapid Fire. There are other topics on Rapid Fire if you wish to know more.

2: When you are in an alliance you gain no physical benefits at the current time apart from having a friendly group of players beside you. You will be able to, when it is introduced, utilize the Alliance Combat System. There are more topics on this if you wish to know more. You will also gain the alliances tag.

3: When you are in vacation mode you will gain no resources, cannot send fleet missions and will be immune to attack yourself.

4: If you gain access to the planets resources the way you receive them is as follows. Your cargo space will be filled up with the defenders Metal until it has half the cargo space it previously had remaining. It will then fill up with the defenders Crystal until it has half of the space left after the Metal was taken, so a quarter of the original cargo space. The remaining space will be filled with the defenders Deuterium. Note that you cannot loot more than half of the defenders total resources and so this will affect the way your cargo space is filled.

5: The limit on attacking is 5 times per planet per day. This is known as the Bashing Rule and you can view this in several other topics if you wish to know more. Violation of the Bashing Ruled will result in a warning and possibly even a permanent ban.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. I've got some more by the way so here goes...

1) What's the biggest planet size possible?

2) What exactly does a terraformer do? Increase the fields of a planet or?

3) Are shield points damage reducers or do they act as "hit points"? If they're damage reducers then does it mean that a Large Shield Dome can block 10 000 attack points per attack turn? If not, how do they work? What do they protect?

4) Do shield domes stack? As in, will the construction of 2 large shield domes add up to 20 000 shield points?

5) Since Rapid Fire isn't implemented, does it mean that units that rely on rapid fire for superiority, like a battlecruiser; are a lot less powerful then they should be right now?

Thanks a lot for helping. :D

1) there is no top for sure, but you can get some huggge planets, some people even boast that they have 1 with 500 fields.
2) yes, they do increase the size but not by much only like 5-10 fields i think. not the best investment for the beggining of the game, better to just ditch a low field planet and search for one with many more fields.
3)I believe they are the "absorb" part of the battle reports, they absorb they damage b4 the structure is attacked. I am not positive however.
4)You can only have 1 large, and 1 small shield domes on a planet so your question is void lol now if you are wondering if the small and large domes stack together then, i believe no, becuase you can lose 1 without losing the other.
5)yes. its a scary thought what rapid fire will add to the game

Moons are formed when a very large debris field is created in a planet's orbit. To do this, a lot of ships or solar satellites need to die. If enough of them do, the resulting debris field (often abbreviated "DF") will have a chance of creating a moon. The maximum chance is 20%.

Moon size is affected by the size of the DF as well, though this can vary. Debris fields are not consumed in the creation of a moon (which will be one of the next questions you ask :))

So all you have to do is lose a whole bunch of ships (or, preferably, kill a bunch of someone else's) in the orbit of one of your planets. You don't have a moon right now, is your problem.

1)So can anyone confrim what shields do exactly or whether a small and large dome shield will stack?

2)How is the total amount of deuterium required by fleets for travel to another location calculated?

3)What would a good planet size be? I've got a couple of 400+ field size planets and a handful of 300+ field size planets and a lot of 200+ field size planets. Should I abandon the 200+ size or even 300+ size planets for bigger ones?

4) Do destroyed planets regenerate? If not, is there any way to find out if a location no longer houses a planet after their icon as destroyed planets disappears?

5)Will it be better to build fleets to defend your colonies or will defensive turrets be better?

6) How many base defense does an Interplanetary Missile target at a time?
