I am wondering why i always lose one ship that is the largest in the fleet. it does not seem random. sometimes i lose a BS against defenseless ships. he small ships take the brunt as normal but i always lose one large ship. This happens every time.

Sometimes it could just be bad luck, fodder is never a "definate" protection. Otherwise it's just that little bug that's wandering around where you lose a higher end ship for no apparent reason. Example: yesterday i lost a Destroyer in a fight with a Small Shield Dome.

yeah i lost a destroyer vs 3 colony ships and 5 small transports

What was your opponent's tech levels for Weapons, Shields, and Armor compared to yours? Significantly higher?

When i lost that Destroyer i had 110% weapons, 100% shield, 110% armour. My opponent had 80% on 2 and 70% on the other, i cant remember exactly which.

no not at all i wiped him out in 2 hits. all of his defenses in the first hit and then all was left was 3 colony ships and a bunch of cargo ships. actually it was a cruiser now that i look.

the BS was lost in a different battle in the first salvo so i am not sure if it was ok or a bug.

thesese are old but hopefully you guys can shed some light on the numbers since i have not figured it all out yet
