I can't find witchy's tutorial. 
You have to upload your picture on an image hosting site. ie: photobucket, imagehack, etc. Check those sites.
After you uploaded the pic, you will be given a link for that pic.
Copy the link. Enclose it on an image tag. ie. [img]the%20link%20here[/img]
Some hosting sites already have the image tag. All you have to do is copy it and post it.

Host your picture... I use photobucket.com as it seems to be easier, but you may use what you wish. Once you have the picture hosted, copy the DIRECT LINK for that picture then go back to your alliance management page.... towards the bottom you will see a box that says Alliance Logo beside it, paste the link you copied into the box and click save.

I went to the Alliance and there is no place to post the image. Has this feature been removed?
