Colonising after planet is destroyed???

I have tried 8 times to colonise a slot after a planet was destroyed but keep getting this message...
The fleet has reached the coordinates [x:xxx:x], and the settlers have found an environment not conducive to the extension of your empire. They decided to turn back completely
Anyone seen that before??? Can this slot be colonised?

You have to wait a day until "destroyed planet" disappears and it looks just like a normal slot.

It has been a normal slot for two days now.

its 2 days? i could have been positive it was 1day 24 hrs any way ifit still doesnt work then explain situation to

Are you accidentally trying the moon slot?
