Hello, I am a new ZORG player and I really enjoy the game so far, but I have a few questions(I am sorry if I seem like an idiot) :

Firstly, exactly how does the server calculate the results of battles? (I find most of the other posts on the forums very confusing, and have wondered how I can draw with 3 light fighters against a rocket launcher, but lose 6 when I send 9 to attack)

Secondly, is there anyway for me to sink my attack with my friends, from what I understand, even if we are a second off then his defenses reset, and can I do this with out entering a clan war?

Lastly, (For now) how come I have access to some technologies on some of my planets, but on other colonies I cannot build buildings that I have met the prerequisites for, (such as a fusion reactor)

The results of battles have a random factor. They can be extremely hard to predict so you should use 1 of the following battle simulators:

Do not post simulators for other games in the forums. -neoshagrath

There will be a function called ACS attack soon, until then synchronization is impossible, even during war.

Research is the same on all planets. So if you have researched energy tech 3 on one planet, your good with research. However, you can only build a fusion reactor on a planet with a deuterium synthesizer level 5.
