Not sure if this is bug or I'm a noob (thats a big possibility) but this is what I'm experiencing - couldn't find topic so forgive me if already dealt with.

On a planet I have 89 fields and used them up but then as I progressed up and re-organised I demolished a building to build another, what I have now is 89 (in green indicating I believe the ability to build) and total fields (89) in red. The building type in question is showing no buildings but working (its a research lab) but can't understand why it shows as working as there is no labs. I'm currently researching but I had this problem previously when not researching any techs.

Any ideas?

I don't really get it.
You mean the Research Lab says "working" even if you don't have a research going on?

You cannot build or upgrade Research Labs when you are researching technologies. The build command will be replaced with "working".
When you don't have a free field (building space), "Total Fields Occupied" will replace the build command of all buildings.
