Expedition Technology

Pardon me, but I don't think anyone has given a definite answer to this question. What does increased levels of Expedition Technology do? Zorg himself replied with a Perhaps when asked about whether it will decrease the risk of expeditions. Anyone able to confirm this?

No, it dosen't do anything. It's like graviton tech. You need it once and that's it. This is unless aditions to the game have been changed or I wise fed false information, but I don't think either of those have happened.

Guess: Because he might have been considing adding that as an addition to the game
Guess 2: He wouldn't to mess with you to make the game a little more interesting.

Or maybe there really has something to gain in upgrading it further. But they would rather let the players discover it.
I also heard upgrading graviton tech has benefits.

Seriously?
It works like Computer Tech. You can send more Expeditions at once (Go to Fleet and look in the top right corner...)
Am I the only one that noticed that?
