What assistant rates can be?

#1
What is the maximum a split can be? Lets say I make a hit on someone, but a buddy helped recycle, attack, moon shot, ect... what is the maximum percent of the hit I can give him without it being considered cheating? After all on some servers I have no need for growth, but would like to help others :P

Didn't think there was a definitive % as such.....more down to people abusing what is considered a "fee" as opposed to a "push/pull".....just because I do a m/s should not entitle me to 15% ( or other %) else it would really be open to abuse....but I agree if two players target and crash a player with joint effort then a 50/50 split is obvious....so no real answer here I'm afraid....maybe Zorg at some point could clarify this point seeing as this is the second time it has been asked in forums (same player as I recall) :D

well here is a trick. when you want to help a friend make him to host the acs attack. that way the attack is basically becomes his and you will be the host. i think technically speaking then the question would be how much profit you are allowed to take out of that attack lol.

anyways there have been loads of hits in extreme servers where players needed REC support. i have provided a few but not recently. so the only returns i got from those helps were just the deut costs. i was surprised that that help didnt profit me, but hey some people kinda thinks that way. anyways i guess rec supports can also be a profitable venture.

apart from that all i am saying is as long as you are the guest in an acs attack you can simply just take your deut costs and let your friend take all the profits. then again this really doesnt matter at this point of the game.

I can't speak to what people are actually doing, but the rules do state that each account must be played to its own benefit. So it would seem to me that helping your friends out without taking any profit yourself violates the rule. But SPY might be right; if you do what he suggested it might not technically break the rule (very uncertain) but it would certainly still violate it imo.

Indulge them sounds very much like pulling lol......I was hoping Zorg would help out on this one tbh........If I launch 99% of fleet in ACS attack and another player adds last 1% then I would assume they are not entitled to anything close to the numbers you maybe thinking of......it's all proportional and subject to ratios....anything other than that will be seen to be a manipulation of the rules I reckon :D

OK here is a fine scenario.

Two players
Player 1 being the host calles player 2 into acs attack.
Player 1 adds 1 LG
Player 2 adds 99 LG

a significant df formed.
Player 1 takes whatever he could from that DF with Recs.
Player 2 takes the rest.

now it is obvious that from the raiding of an attack what you earn is completely yours. of that raid you can only give a certain acceptable cut to another player based on what kind of assistance they provided.

but the df is a free field. there is no owner for the DF.

for example if there is a 10.000.000.000 metal lying on a coordinate there is no owner for it. so recycling the df its perfectly all right for anyone to take it.

however when u are helping a friend on an attack with recycling and that friend asks you to give the df back? that envolves two tasks.

1 your recycle the df.
1 or 2 recycle missions.

2 you transfer the acquired df to the friend u are assisting.

the second mission could be considered as pushing and pulling. but only gets justified as its a recycle operation.

considering the above scenario. the spoils of an attack really doesnt has any strict sharing principal. as long as the winners devides it its all good.

the problem is if the player is just simply transferring some resource for nothing.
