Re: Recyclers with Attack Fleet?

#11
Hey, I've got a question concerning the "send your recyclers ahead" strategy. how exactly are you supposed to send the fleet of recyclers to the planet BEFORE a DF has formed? I tried sending a couple Espionage ships, making a small DF and then sending the Recyclers, but then I realized that it would only send just enough to pick up the DF, not how ever many I wanted.

Am I just not thinking this through or what? Help would be amazing, because I'm about to rip my hair out trying to figure this thing out lol.

You can manually send recyclers to a DF before it's formed. Just click fleet, select all the recyclers you want to go and manually type in the planet's coordinates. Next to the coordinates there should be an option of going to the planet itself, the moon, or the DF. Select the DF and send your recyclers on an recycle mission. Then send your fleet to attack, just make sure your recyclers will get there after your attacking fleet, and then they'll pick up the loot and come back home.
