Excuse me???????? First off, though the age limit on the game is 13, it also says that they may play if they are younger if permission given by the parents. Therefore, even if they are 13 it doesn't mean they have a bank account, it also doesn't mean they are the ones paying for the computer or the Internet access. And even if they are old enough to pay for it, this doesn't mean they have the extra to buy rubies. TAKE me for instance, I am currently unemployed and searching for a job, the internet is what I use as part of my search tools. I am barely able to pay for it but it is a necessity as I live in a little place with no employment available so have to search other places. THEREFORE, I even though I am an adult with internet access and a computer, can NOT afford the little extra for a GAME, until I find employment. Please do not presume that everyone is capable of doing the same things, as you do not know every one's situation.

I apologize if this sounds abrupt, however, I will not sit by and condone someone telling me I should be able to do something when they do not know the circumstances.

As far as help in the game, I did buy Zorg rubies though i didn't use them for Imperial support or boosting mines. I have used them to instantly build Lunar bases and Phalanxes on moons and to boost Weapons, Armor and Shield by 15%. The first, more for convenience than anything else, the second for the advantage though not huge, worth it.

Mostly I use the Zorg rubies for instant trades which is very helpful and in my opinion, the best use of the Zorg rubies. Though I still make physical trades with others. I had started with 10 and got a bunch more from the Admin for pointing out some issues. I didn't really use them until I was a little bit established, but they definitely help. After I used a couple and saw that it was a way to support the game, I went ahead a got a bunch.

If you are old enough to play Zorg, you are old enough to have your own bank account. If you can afford a computer and Internet access, you should be able to afford 35 zorg rubies. Supporting the game not only provides the $$ the team needs, but is also a nod of approval that you appreciate the hard work that they have put in. I recommend everyone get Zorg rubies, even if you don't plan to use them. Funny that people spend more money on trading cards or a beer at the local pub, but for some reason can't afford to pony up the little amount of $$ it takes to support the game.
While I appreciate the fact that you support the game, not everybdoy is in the same situation as YOU..God I hate when people think that everybody should be exactly like them. Who gets off determining when and how other people they dont even know IRL should spend their money.

I understand that suggesting in general that, if its possible, we should try to support the game. But to those of you who think everybody is living in Martha's Vinyard ...well, get a clue.

Unless you wish to purchase rubies on my behalf, or you wish to guarantee my financial future with a plan of action that you will moderate...well, i wont put here my next thought but I think you get it!

I am just saying this. I do not know everyone's circumstances and there are certainly are factors that would affect your ability to support the game. However, I have found that many times people who say they can't make a contribution of 4 pounds or around $6.00 American dollars do in fact have that much disposable income that they spend on other things. Though it is free to play, it is not free to run.

People can make their own choices and I am not going to tell them what they can or can not do. I guess it is a touchy subject and I did not mean to offend anyone. If anyone wants to continue this conversation with me, feel free to PM me.

Over and out. :D
