1.what function do they have besides giving minute energy?
2.When I click on they it opens a screen showing a bunch of rapid fire things and they are all red. why are they red?
Can they be upgraded for defense?
Re: solar satillites
#2They are red because that is the rapid-fire they RECEIVE from those ships, so it is colored red. Red= Not Good. However, Rapid-Fire doesn't work, so whateverjeeden wrote:1.what function do they have besides giving minute energy?

They give energy, small amounts but they are cheap and you can build a lot of them very quickly, providing a cheap energy source. No, they cannot be "upgraded" for defense, however they are calculated into all attacks on your planet, just like any other ships.
Re: solar satillites
#3they seem a useless piece of junk but later on when your defence is high and you solar plants become a major expence they are a little more usefull plus when you go for gravton tech after they make a good moon shot myself i do grav tech on a planet with little defence to make it easyer to crash them plus i little point to remember energy output depends were your planet is in solar system
Re: solar satillites
#4i'd build them on the base with the most defence and fleet on, they work great as fodder for other fleets to waste they're attack power on rather than killing your fleets, and they make the fight go on for a extra couple of rounds, that makes it harder to profit from an attack.
