#12Oh. k. sorry.
If I had to choose who I would die fighting against, I would choose corrupt government.

#132 Million...is that confirmed?

Re: Moon Creation [Not what you think it is :)]
#14Send 56 BS. Its a 20% chance, I know that.
Also, 2 mil seems right:
A debris field containing 1.680.000 units of Metal and 336.000 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.
The probability of creating a moon is : 20 %
That came from the 56 BS moonshot.

#15How is the debris calculated? Structure points?
If debris is equal to 30 % of structure points:
2300 LF = 1,725,000 debris
56 BS = 1,008,000 debris
*no losses at the other side
With trade ratios at 3:1.5:0.5 , LF is the most cost effective way to create debris.
Even at 3.5:2:1 , LF is still cheaper.
That is if debris is equal to 30 % of structure points.

Re: Moon Creation [Not what you think it is :)]
#16I believe it is based off of the Crystal/Metal used in the construction of the destroyed ships. Thats just a speculation, though.
Re: Moon Creation [Not what you think it is :)]
#17its 60% of the metal crystal it costs to build
You can't stop me I'm on a boat!
Re: Moon Creation [Not what you think it is :)]
#18If debris is equal to 60% of metal + crystal cost.
2300 LF = 2,070,000 metal + 2,070,000 crystal
56 BS = 1,680,000 metal + 336,000 crystal
If Urweirdsaysi is correct then you will only be using 1,112 LF. That's 1,000,800 Metal + 1,000,800 Crystal.
LF would still be cheaper by only a small margin.
LF=3,336,000 BS=3,360,000
If you consider the trade rates(3.5:2:1)then the ratio will be like this: LF=10,920,000 ; BS=9,174,000
But there always seem to be a lack of crystal so maybe BS might also be a better option.
I did not check the different ships yet.
Something is really weird. If debris is equal to 60% of construction cost, then it should not matter which ship you build.
Theoretically to produce 2m of debris you need to spend 3.33m. The only factor would be the trade ratio.

Re: Moon Creation [Not what you think it is :)]
#19i dont know why someone would use so many LF? i have no idea where that number comes from... another alternative is to use 223 LC which is easier on defences

Re: Moon Creation [Not what you think it is :)]
#20Yeah... it is still not what I think it is.
Can anybody answer me if a moon is indeed created immediately after a battle (meaning, like some of you said, 50 BS+my planet=boom+moon, meaning that you have one shot of having a moon created at probability n%) or if it is depending on how long the debris field stays around (while you have the debris field around, you have a n% chance of getting a moon... somehow... and god knows how continuously would this probability be tested...)?
Thank you.
Best.
