Re: Getting a moon?
#3If I'm not mistaken, the chance of a moon caps at 20%, right?
The smallest DF I've had with a 20% of a moon was something like a 2mil size DF. It takes a nice little chunk, but still relatively easy I think.

Re: Getting a moon?
#4I'm confused...I've heard, now, 3 different ways to get a moon.
If I had to choose who I would die fighting against, I would choose corrupt government.
Re: Getting a moon?
#5You get a moon from a large battle over a planet's surface. The large the debri field, the higher the chance of a moon. If you get a moon, it will form immediately after the combat and will be mentioned at the very bottom of the Combat Report.
That is the only way I've ever heard of getting a moon. And i'm fairly certain it is the ONLY way.

Re: Getting a moon?
#6you can be given a moon by an ally, or get lucky in a battle for your own to be created.
take my love, take my land, but you can't take the sky from me
Re: Getting a moon?
#7To prevent any confusion, when he says "given" he means that you can trade moonshots with an ally player/friend. This is often seen as the most reliable way of getting a moon in the place you want. Creating a large Debris Field is the only way of forming a moon.gamefreak9 wrote:you can be given a moon by an ally, or get lucky in a battle for your own to be created.
