It's an automatic system, but Traffic guard is just another server script that can be edited to meet any needs.
All that i suggested before is possible to realize with a descent amount of scripting knowledge.

Seems to me admin is not going about this whole bot thing the right way. The new directives say we have to be fast. But if someone programs a bot to handle the traffic codes, they'll be fast automatically. So the speed requirement will only hurt us humans. Especially those of us who, because of age or other reasons, aren't real quick. Not to mention we make typos.. and bots won't.

So, the traffic code system is terribly annoying to many real, human players, but it won't stop well programmed bots... what's the point???

Not fast, you need not to ignore the code.

It simply ready.Just put the short code, hit continue and you are done.
Keep doing this and keep getting it away from you. Its still early but in the next few days it will appear much less.

Avoid any type of automation.

No. Tabs won't create you problem with this current system. In my knowledge, it has a bad affect with the old system which is still ON.

But there are many people that use tabs all this time without problem. Whatever the issue, if you get auto-banned for tabing, consider emailing support. We can check why you have been banned.

thank you for your responses, Zorg. I'm still leery, and almost get panicky about how fast I have to enter t codes,but I'll give it some time and see if things improve.

The one thing I still don't understand is how this really stops bots... seems they could be programmed to enter simple codes, and they'd never be slow about it. If the codes were hard to 'read', or were pictorial or some such, I could see the value.

And Oloros, I meant right away, like as if puting it when it appears and not 10 pageviews later (or 10 failed attempts). Actual time you take to enter it should not worry you at all.

how about programing in a 2-3 hit allowance because i am a fast clicker and sometimes click 2-3 times on a link before i realize that the game wants a code.

i am a fast clicker and i was conditioned with the whitescreens to just click more times till it works. i have not reached the warning but the guard is really up in mah grill
