do you enjoy your job?

I work as a compliance officer in financial services, and is getting tired of current position, looking for a new company or opportunity, preferably related field, any suggestions?

you can state what you do as work, it will be interesting to hear your view on your work field.

I currently work as a database manager/general IT guy for an executive recruitment company. I love my job for several reasons, the ones that stand out most are as follows;

1, 75% of my work can be done from home, so I never have that 7 am Monday morning feeling. :mrgreen:
2, In the last year and a half I have learned more in my job than I ever did through school and college. (industry related and appropriate courses)
3, In a nutshell, I get paid good money for calling people a dumbass and that they're doing it wrong.

I enjoy all 3 of my jobs. Yes....3....now people can understand why I'm so busy.

I've been a martial arts instructor since I was 13 years old, so it's something I can't really live without now. It's part of who I am.

Working for the GameStop Coorp. in media and as a Game Adviser is always a blast.

Custom car work and restoration takes forever, it's hard work, and verrrrrry slow. It's not for the faint of heart and takes a lot of diligence and patience. But I adore it, and I get payed well ;).

I used to be a truck driver. I hauled hazardous waste all across the country. I am now a custom cabinet maker. I have done that for ten years. It don't pay as well as hauling waste but then I am not gone for 27 days a month. :!:
