hey iv had a wierd thing happen twice now. iv had 2 attempts at getting a moon, and both times its failed even with over 5 mil of each at once and a 19% chance . yet i attacked 3 ppl so far and all them resulted in them getting a moon on the first try. wtf am i doing wrong? wheres my moon??

moon shots are independent of each other. each shots gives u maximum 19% chance so you get 81% failure chance.

also it doesnt mean u will get moons on every 5 shots cause 19%+19%+19%+19%+19% = 96% ... as said on the first line they all are independent.

someone please post the moon guideline thread here for reference.. i am too lazy for it!

thanks to luna

So did joshanddrew Sloth.

And yes, SPY is correct, moon formation probability does not stack, you have the same max chance of 19% every time.

The number of tries it takes to get a moon pretty much depends on your luck, so don't waste resources by making a DF bigger than the 2 million required for 19% chance. In other words, if you use say battleships for the moon shots, don't throw away your resources by sending more than the 53 or so needed for a 19% chance.

dude its a 19% chance...

as in.... you have 5 cards 1 has a red dot on it- what are your chances to get the red dot in 2 atempts?
