Player Art

Art has always been a huge part of my life...It's what I grew up doing, it's what I was known for in school, and I couldn't go a day without sketching. Lately, I've been doing half-*** work like sigs, avatars, skins, tshirts...not actual art. I visited my cousin the other day (an amazing artist) and she inspired me to start again. I was wondering if there are any other artists out there needing a little push to proceed with their work. Hopefully this is a place where you can share it :).

Image Title: "Organic Mechanics"
Description:Completely made from scratch, no added images. The fact that she's a woman resembles beauty. The fact that she's nude resembles organics. However, the irony of it all is that she's actually made of robotics and technology (shown by the wires). I tried to create a "lie-on-paper".

Process:

My first rough sketch on the back of an advertisement. See the coffee stain? Heheh.

My second draft on GIMP. Added dropshadow, skin color, more shading, blending, canvas background, and sparks to wires.

The third draft will hopefully be my final. I still have much image healing and work to do.

Awesome work, you should pursue what you do best!
I took up another college degree since I hate engineering drawing. Drawing car parts, drawing interior designs, drawing random shapes, reading signs like 5" or <---5"---> .... bleah!
For some reason though I'm kinda "jealous" on people who know how to draw.
Don't worry, I don't hate you gale/devola... :lol:
I can only program... :?
Nevertheless, AWESOME WORK! KEEP AT IT!

the nets gone crazy. when i right clicked on sloths image and opened in new tab in google chrome it didnt show me instead said imageshacks needs registration... but when i clicked the link and opened it in the same window or ctrl+clicked it to open in the next window it opened.

ghostly image btw :P

My HUM013 final project...
Had to make it neat... Did it for more than 3 days...
It was originally just plain pencil...
But, with the help of photoshop, I put some color into it...
;)

Ehhh... I'm too lazy to remove my complete name... At least you know my complete name.. :P
