I agree totally. It shows a disrespect for the forums and those who use them. Maybe a moderator could start taking it on as a form of spam.

Well, I for one use it for exageration. Like if you intend a pause for a little more time than a comma I write .............

Dramatic pause should be limited to one per post. You can also use a dash in place of ...

But if its in the middle of a sentence..........you can't really just end it.


I ADMIT, I use periods a LITTLE too much, and I'll try to tone it down a little.............happy? (No humor or annoyance intended.)

Why not just three periods? It conveys the same message... and doesn't make you look like you're being annoying on purpose.

Well, its a habbit. But for the sake and sanity of the community, I will use ... whenever I can.
