Spankie, although not affordable, check out the website for USsubmarine, a company that specialises in private submarines. Some of them appear to look like cabin cruiser style yachts but are submersible!! Perhaps a lottery win? lol!!

the submarines look amazing, and just as affordable as space travel is atm. I think you can buy a seat into space from Virgin for like 250k or something like that.

and since 250k is also supercar money , for some, this is " affordable" now already!

That is why I said "publicly" as in general public, not lifestyles of the rich and famous lol

Do you think with Richard Bransons' last debacle there will be many folk taking it up when it becomes available?

Is it 250k GBP or USD?

yes I do. it is all completely a sales issue atm, but I can see human life outside the atmosphere in our future. We have had shuttles blow up and kill many, but we still go into space.

I think I might be up for it, But, limited spaces perhaps. If the uptake was too great and the highest bidder was to win a spot, perhaps that 250k price tag would increase exponentially?

lord knows. Im a little fish in the pond so I only hear about these things. I will likely never be so lucky as to go unless they do a lottery or something like that.
