Though, I THINK you needed to add "have" after "I" in the sentence in question. "I have won" not "I won." I'm not 100% on that, however. It just doesn't seem right to me...You can't say "I eaten," so I don't think you can say "I won." You could say "I win," just like you can say "I eat."

Actually, the term "I won" is correct. In the instance you provided, the speaker would change the words to "I ate".

In this case it seems more of an exclamation. So there should be an exclamation mark after the "YES" and the "I" would be the start of a new sentence.
