Re: Role Play - Sci Fi
#63[Seems another paragraph by me won't hurt so here its is.]
Starstriker walked calmly around the city, alert for any threats. He decides to be extra cautious and takes a complicated route that would lose anyone tailing him. He met XER1 at his ship and takes what he thinks he will need for the mission. He grabbed a few gadgets that would let him traverse different types of terrain, his plasma blade as always, a stealth suit, and decided to take his broken down Nightstinger in XER1. After this he set off towards the restricted areas of the city, stolen key-card in hand. He followed what looked to be another officer of the Legions and saw him walk into what appeared to be a solid wall of Earth. Surprised, he waited nearby for another person just to confirm. Several hours later when he was about to give up 3 men appeared out of the wall, talking about a subject unknown to him. He switched his special "eyes" to a weak thermal and discovered that beneath the rock lied what looked to be huge machines and many people running around them.Could this be one of the entrances to the "Underworld" of this planet that he had heard about? He decided to find out and slowly crept inside. Even though he was invisible, he left footprints, kicked up dust, and made very small noises when he walked on the gravel. He got in without incident and saw XER1 had come along as well, hovering at the top of the massive cavern, cleverly disguised as a stalactite. He provided a rough map to this very confusing cave and on it Starstriker saw what he was looking for. One of the giant computers that held information on all of the Heraphax system, excluding Heraphax X and XI, of which he needed no information about. He saw his stealth timer was running out and made a quick decision. The next person he passed he grabbed around the neck and pulled into dark crevice in one of the walls. He donned his outer cloths on top of the thin layer he was wearing. Next he studied his unconscious victims face and body structure. He lay a hand on his cortex and concentrated, he had done this many times before but it still gave him the chills. 2 minutes later, what appeared to be a technician walked out of a dark corner, as if nothing had happened. The tech smiled as he walked towards one of the supercomputer's small screens. Starstriker, now completed camouflaged in this hostile environment had left the real tech beneath a stealth blanket, so no one would discover him unless they stepped on him, or the blankets battery's wore off after 3 hours. If he was still here by then he would be compromised anyway. He jacked a special chip that would allow XER1 access to the database of the computer into one of the many slots. He slid the card with the highest clearance and saw that he wouldn't need XER1's hacking skills for this one. After XER1 had copied all the info he needed onto his personal database Starstriker then disengaged the chip and logged out of the tech's account. He returned to the tech and gave him back his clothes. He thought a few seconds and decided it might be good to have an inside man here, and injected him with a precious tube of nanomites. He logged him as "Heratech6" on his wrist, and gave an order for him to wake up in 20 minutes, with the nanomites help. They would remain dormant after that until he needed use of this person again. He wiped his memory, again with the nanomites help, right up until he had be grabbed by him. He imputed a fake memory that lead to the tech tripping and hitting his head on a rock. Starstriker then gave him back his ID card and made the injury on the back of his head real. He then told XER1 to meet him outside as he engaged his stealth suit once again. Once out he headed as swiftly as possible back to his ship and took off into the upper atmosphere, knowing that information on his sisters killer was only a few short hours away...

#67[This confuses me, is he 12 inches tall with 3 foot spikes, or is his hologram 12 inches tall, with real life 3 foot spikes?]RogueSpearofTRA wrote:[Close enough ]
The holographic figure of Throk Mak Taur shimmered on a pedestal in front of the Master. Even as the servitors went, he was horrific. A creature that was subjugated by the Master in times long past, Throk Mak Taur was nearly a perfect dozen inches tall, not including the 3 feet long razor sharp spines that coated his back, which while currently sheathed like a cloak, he could raise at will to stand entirely on end. He had four arms, each with three joints that allowed him to twist them into all sorts of complex figures and angles. They were also as thick as the average human.

#68God, this story is hard to follow, but I think I'm finally caught up with what's happening. I would try to join in, but I'm unaware when my computer will disallow me to post (again) so I won't start any long-term activities on the forums...
