I should be studying for my medicinal chemistry mid-term tomorrow and yet I'm posting here.

and FYI the the half life in the body for Prozac is 1-3 days but once you have been taking it then its half life extends to 4-6 days and the major metabolite of Prozac is also active and has a half life of 4-16 days.

For those wondering why Prozac has such a wide range in its half life the reason is due to genetic polymorphisms
