Obviously theres some electronics the ship has grown to be able to communicate with other ships (yes grown) and it believes youre a ship spirit. The Koenfar have very little experience with contemporary tech. Ael' Ataren thinks youre a spirit like she is, and as a living being she cannot be overwritten or hacked by you. However being a living being, shes a great deal more powerful than you, and when she attempted to communicate you, you thought she was trying to eat you.]

The cruiser has pierced are defences. main Battle ships will be here in 18 min. but the ship will be over the city in 5 min. drop ships are dropping battle mech. and SAM launchers all over the city. i cant hack it because.....thier is nothing to hack. im still sending multible pings and im getting responses but...i dont understand them.

(we can only communicate. but she cant hack me but i cant hack her ether. i can do things she cant do and she can do things i cant do, like i can think 50000x as fast as a human, but she can feel, sleep, hack organic technology, and whatever else you can whip up.)

[Im on your side schnitter, the ship isnt dropping anything xD. Although I did some research, according to popular theory technically she could hack you, harvest your data and annhilate you. But dont worry, I dont want to do that . Oh and most definitely do not worry, there will be battlemechs. Mechwarrior4 is available for free & legal download now along with Mechcommander2 if youre interested, and MechWarrior 5 is being released in the next 1-2 years. Trailer looks amazing. I nearly had a nerdgasm]

[Go back and reread my posts, the gunships fired the missiles you posted about after I tried to talk to the leader of Valhale, which is where you are. Im given to understand that is Gale's char's dad, so Im waiting for her to reply. So yes Im talking to a human. Just pay attention ]

Alright, I'm back. And since this story has taken a huge twist and turned comepletely around from the beginning, I think I'll start a knew charactor.

Charactor Name: Lee Calahan

Charactor Description: 6'7" tall. Admiral of the Galactic Fleet's top group of ships. The Battleships and BattleCruisers under his command were fitted with the best weapons and engines, and top-notch (a prototype) shielding, this group of ships was put together to go in, get the job done, and get out as quickly as possible, with as many enemy casualties as possible. The Ships have the nickname "Calahan's Grasp".

Story so far: "Calahan's Grasp" were one of the four groups of ships that were escorting the colony ship to Valhale when they were recalled. Back at HomePlanet, they had been in deep battle for a long time, but had finally pushed the enemy away.

"Admiral Lee, sir, what is our next move?" said the captain of the ship I reside in at the moment.
"Well, seeing though our work here is done, we should get back to the main objective."
"Which is?"
"Escorting the colony ship." I replied.
"Sir, the colony ship was destroyed in a battle right outside the Valhale planet system. There are only one known survivor, and the A.I. of the ship was known to be with him. They were both wanted captured alive,"
"And why wasn't I alerted of this?" I asked.
"Well, sir... We tried to tell you... You were a bit caught up in the attack on HomePlanet, so we left you to your thaughts and commands..." He replied, a bit hesitantly.
"Well, we should get to it then."
"Get to what?"
"To the capturing of the survivor and A.I. Unit."
"Yes sir." He replied, with a solute. "But you should know, the nanomachine placed in the surviving scientists head records no heart-beat, so the only thing we are after is the A.I. Unit. We have to make sure it is destroyed, so that our enemies may not recover the information on it."
I paused for a moment, then said "Then let's not waste time getting to it."
"Understood, sir."

And with that, "Calahan's Grasp" was back on it's way to Valhale, while the other groups of ships were recovering their lost units.
