Unfortunately, the "bible" as we know it today is quite tainted with human error in "translation". There are many things in the bible that are misquoted based on the time in history and the person dictating its translation in an effort to keep certain groups of people at bay. As far as the weekly breakthroughs, we pride ourselves on the things we come to factualize. Why is it that God is not real because we have come to "understand" something. Because we find out that the world is round, there is no God. Because we find another element on the scientific table, that proves there is no God? All of these things have been laid before us, and as we evolve and identify, we are simply bringing to the forefront of human knowledge what has been hidden from us in our plain sight that God has already known.

So, it could be said that, if you have a child and that child learns something that you have known, they are no longer your child or you no longer have relevence?
If your mother dies giving birth, is she no longer your mother? We quickly throw out a belief system simply because we A. dont understand it or B. have to much of an ego to accept it. I am sure there are some C's and D's out there as well.

If you believe in evolution,then you must also believe in origination. And the origination is, imo, what God is. He is the originator. What we have done with the creation he has laid down, well cant really blame him for that now can we?

there may be one god, there may be several gods, there may be no god
i believe there is no origin the universe is infinite eternal and can never be fully understood
if a god created the universe who created the god?
mankind will never understand this question and others like it

Well, God is not the destroyer. We can get out of this situation if we turn back to God. So, I am sorry if it offends anyone. I do not think that there is evolotuion. It does not say there is not in the Bible. It does not say there was either. It might just be another unsolved mystery.

Ever heard that saying " I gave you life, I can take it away"? That is God if he exists, it is his job. He is just, and you can't be just and nice.
