This. The first proper PC game anyway, not counting random time wasters. I remember my first PC when I was like 11-12, an old Packard Bell with 166mhz Pentium processor, when dedicated graphics processing was a distant dream. I actually lagged a bit in in Diablo 2.

Kinda makes you wonder what PC's will be like in another decade.

Duke Nukem 3d (no sound). Then Doom. (Both without mouse)

First PC game? SimCity 2000 on an old Macintosh. The only things that computer had were Solitaire, Excel, and SimCity. Probably one of the funnest games ever for me, even to this day. It's hard to find now, though. Lots of newer games in that series.

I spent like 6 months looking do a replacement SimCity 3000. I happened to get lucky and find one in a garage last summer. Why don't they keep more of these in stock?

Dunno. It's hard to find a torrent for 2000, too, because it's so old. Especially with a version that works on current computers lol
