Try the chatroom. Lot's of sentimental people there but it make take some time to forge bonds with them.

Sometimes there comes cunning trolls. The less hardened chat mods don't know what to do when they got nothing to back them up. Sometimes they do react in a very aggressive way but I think that is a bad image on the moderating team.
It seldom happens so maybe it doesn't matter that much.
