Getting rid of standard is not a good idea. Removing accounts isn't retaining active accounts it's killing a portion of the game. There are quite a few that play standard.

Lets get back to retaining players instead of deleting players

Is anyone else watching this thread waiting for a reply from game staff? Anyone else have thoughts on whether or not they would like to see some new things implemented in standard?
