My first planet I started has only 176 available fields...I didn't realize that was small until I colonized another planet that had over twice the fields available. Should I stop researching and building on my main planet that I started with due to the size...I am kind of bummed if that's the case.....

So I just colonized a new planet...my current planet has about 170 total fields available...the new one has 388 total fields available. Should I think about switching my main headquarters at some point?

I guess I wonder how it correlates to decreasing production manually to make sure you are in the green. Any thoughts?

In reference to energy loss, is it ok to be in the red or does this slow production in anyway?
